Optimierung des Energieverbrauchs der Klimaanlage eines Kreuzfahrtschiffes & Potentials für zukünftige Projekte

Es erfolgt der Vergleich der Haupt-Daten des Klima-Systems der Vorläuferprojekte Radiance Class Schiffe mit den aktuellen Solstice Class Schiffen aus Sicht des Energieverbrauchs für die Klimaanlage. Wesentliche Schlüsseldaten sind eine Vergrößerung der Schiffe von vergleichsweise 100 % BRT zu 135 % BRT. Die gesamte Brutto-Kühlleistung konnte von vergleichsweise 100 % Kühlleistung für das kleinere Schiff auf nur ca. 90 % Kühlleistung für das 35% größere Schiff reduziert werden. Größeres Potential für Verbesserungen und Energiesparmaßnahmen für zukünftige Projekte basieren auf:
- Verbesserungen und Kombination der Regelanlagen aller entsprechenden Klima-System Komponenten,
- Training und Qualifikation der Crew zur Nutzung und Optimierung der verschiedenen verfügbaren Regelstrategien,
- Entwicklung von intelligenten Reportsystemen für die notwendige Unterstützung der Crew
Energy Saving Measures for the Air Conditioning System of a Cruise Ship & Potential Measures for Future Projects
It will be shown the comparison of the main data of the HVAC system of Radiance class ships and Solstice class ships regarding energy consumption for the air conditioning system. Key data are an increase of the ships from comparable 100 % GT to approximately 135 % GT. The total gross cooling load could be reduced from comparable 100 % cooling load for the smaller ship down to approximately only 90% for the 35% bigger ship. Bigger potential for improvements and energy savings for future projects have to be covered by the following measures:
- improvement and combination of the control systems for all related air conditioning system components,
- training and qualification for crew members for using and optimizing the different available control strategies,
- development of intelligent report systems for the necessary support of the crew
