Daniel Struckmeier, MAN Diesel & Turbo SE

Daniel Struckmeier has finished his mechanical engineering studies at the University of Hanover in 2007, focusing on energy- and process engineering. After successful completion of his doctoral degree at the Kyushu University, Japan in the field of combustion characteristics of heavy fuel oils, he started to work as test engineer in the group combustion development at MAN Diesel & Turbo in Augsburg in 2011. Since 2013 he is appointed senior project manager and head of Emission 2016 responsible for aftertreatment and emission projects at MAN Diesel & Turbo in Augsburg. Since 2016 he has taken over the responsibility for the department Exhaust Aftertreatment within the Engineering 4-stroke division, covering all relevant aftertreatment technologies developed at MAN Diesel & Turbo in Augsburg.
